Like most people getting married in 2020, Peter & Carrie Ann's wedding was hit hard by lockdown restrictions. The rules changed only a few days before the wedding meaning only 30 people could attend. They decided to go ahead and to do another ceremony online for the rest of their guests. I showed up after ward to take some photographs of the bridal party in the beautiful Moreley Hayes Golf Club.
Anna and Philip were married in Pickering, North Yorkshire at the Forest and Vale Hotel. It was a stunning garden party wedding on a lovely autumn day. I photographed the wedding as a second shooter for Naomi Thompson Photography so in the morning I was with the groom and his family as they got ready which made a nice change! The ceremony was held at the local Kingdom Hall, before the newlyweds had some photos taken at the bride's family home in the garden where they had spent a lot of their courtship. It was then on to the Forest and Vale for the reception. I felt like I'd stepped into a Jane Austen novel when I saw the function room! We got some more pictures during Golden Hour before the party started!
